Breakfast with Santa Today at Applebee's

A “Toys for Tots” Fundraiser to help NJ’s hardest hit communities will take place December 8 at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar at Woodbridge Center Mall at 8:30 am.

To help support the efforts of the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program to bring holiday cheer to those children whose families were hard hit by Hurricane Sandy, Applebee’s will hold its Breakfast with Santa at 8:30 am on December 8. Advanced reservations are required and a limited number of tickets are available for a $10 per person donation. Children under 2 are admitted free.

Guests receive breakfast compliments of Applebee’s, goodies, raffle tickets for door prizes and will have the opportunity to take a photo with Santa (bring a camera).  One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go to U.S. Marine Corps “Toys for Tots” Program and will help brighten the holidays for local families devastated by the recent storm.

Applebee's on Long Island and participating restaurants in New Jersey have raised a combined total of over $2.7 million for “Toys for Tots” over the past 13 years. Dollars raised in each community benefit that local community. To raise additional funds for the U.S. Marine Corps program, Applebee’s is also offering paper “gift packages” for $1 each that will be prominently displayed in the restaurant.

About Marine Toys for Tots Foundation
Toys for Tots, a 65 year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to disadvantaged children during each Christmas holiday season.  The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by the Marines offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime. It is such experiences that help children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community.  Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7.4 million less fortunate children. Since 1947, over 195 million children have been assisted.
