Woodbridge's Memorial Day Events

Here are events around set for Monday, May 28, Memorial Day:

• Keasbey Fire Department will hold a Memorial Day Parade and Service at the Keasbey War Memorial Monument Park (at the foot of Edison Bridge on Smith Street) at 8 am. The parade starts at 7:30 am from the Keasbey Fire Department at 420 Smith Street and continues to Keasbey War Memorial Monument Park for an 8 am memorial service. • Avenel VFW Memorial Post #7164 will conduct a Memorial Day service at 10 am at the Post Headquarters, located at 60 West Park Avenue in Avenel. For more information, call 848-203-7874.
• Iselin VFW Memorial Post #2636 will hold a Memorial Day service at 11 am outside Post Headquarters located on Auth Avenue in Iselin. Contact Commander Charles Reti at 732-381-3579 for more information.
• The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 4-4 Sewaren (Woodbridge Township) will conduct a Memorial wreath-laying ceremony at 9 am A.M. at the Woodbridge Marina and Boat Launch at the foot of Cliff Street in Sewaren. Members of the USCG Flotilla will lay a wreath in honor of the men and women serving in the USCG.
