State Police Issues Amber Alert for Two Missing Boys

The NJ State Police have issued an alert asking the public for help in locating two missing children from New Brunswick.

Francisco Perera 10, is a Hispanic male, about 4 ft. tall and 135 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen by his mother around 6 p.m. Aug. 5 at their home in the 200 block of Somerset St., according to a release from the State Police. Just before leaving, he told his mother than he was going to a park on nearby Harvey Street, the release said.

Perera was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue and white striped shorts, and sandals without socks. He has scars on both his knees, the release said.

The other missing boy is Devine Nicholas, who lives on the unit block of Mine Street, the release said.

Nicholas 11, is a black male who is is 4 ft. 2 inches, and weighs 85 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was also reported missing by his mother on the evening of Aug. 5.

Nicholas was last seen wearing black "Crocs" and usually has a Spiderman push scooter in his possession, the release said. He has a medical condition that requires medication.  Devine has a medical condition that requires medication. Devine lives on the unit block of Mine Street.

According to the State Police, the two are friends are may be together.
