Snow, Sleet May Make the Morning Commute a Mess

We're being pelted with a mix of snow, sleet, and ice; freezing temperatures by morning may mean you'll be slip-sliding to work.

Look out your window - there's more than just snow on the ground.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for the Middlesex County area. We're in for a mix of snow, sleet, and ice, with accumulations of up to 3 inches before it's all over early Tuesday morning.

The combination of wintery precipitation is going to make traveling hazardous, the NWS warns.

The mess will stop falling by 2 am, they say, but a combintion of cold windy gusts up to 25 mph and temperatures that aren't supposed to break out of freezing may mean the morning commute will be a nightmare.
