Potential Storm's on Track for Midweek

A mix of rain and snow is expected.

The forecast for the middle of the week is filled with question marks as the National Weather Service tracks a storm that could bring a variety of precipitation to our area.

Prior to the storm the forecast looks bright for today and tomorrow. The high for today is expected to be around 42 with winds near 20 MPH before a low of 28 tonight. Tomorrow looks to be a little warmer with a high near 46 on a mostly sunny day.

Tuesday night is when the forecast begins to change as there is a chance of rain before 5 a.m. that could turn to snow for a few hours before sunrise. As of Sunday afternoon, the forecast for Tuesday night and Wednesday for most of our area is expected to get less than half an inch of precipitation.

The low temperature for Tuesday night is expected to be around 34 degrees before rising back to a high of 42 on Wednesday which should help keep most of the snow away during the day. Wednesday night could bring more of a wintery mix with a low near 34 degrees.

Once the storm passes Thursday the high temperature is expected to be near 45 degrees on a cloudy day with a low of 32 at night. Next weekend looks to be a welcome preview of spring with high temperatures near 50 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and lows in the 30's.
