Five Things: What Really Happened on 9/11

A talk from a 9/11 hero tonight, as well as Zumba classes and a farmer's market.

  1. Learn first hand what happened on 9/11. Vic Guarnera, a manager in the Security Command Center at the World Trade Center, was there during the of a decade ago, and he won the Civilian Commendation medal for bravery as he helped save countless lives. Tonight he'll be speaking at the at 7:30 pm. For more info, call 732-634-4450.
  2. Today is Farm Market Day! Get your at the The market is open from 3 pm to 8:30 pm, and it continues through the end of Sept.
  3. Enter a playwriting contest. Current and former Union County College students, faculty and staff are the Owl Theater Ten Minute Play contest. There is no entry fee.   4. Learn about teen wellness and eating habits. The YMCA at the will hold a entitled, "Teens Back to School Diet and Exercise" tonight at 6 pm that will focus on the importance of diet and exercise for teens. The event is free. For more info, call the YMCA front desk at 732-596-4173.
