Farmer's Market at Parker Press and 'Curtains' in Port Reading

Fresh veggies, fun plays, and gorgeous weather. It's what summer's all about.

  1. Are you a Windows newbie? The Woodbridge Main Library will teach a summer class called today at 7 pm to help you learn how it all works. You should have some skill handling a mouse. The class runs for two hours and a $5 registration fee is required. To register, call 732-634-4450 est. 7120. Β 
  2. Don't forget it's 'Curtains'! The Woodbridge Youth Community Players is holding '', a musical comedy whodunit, tonight at 7:30 pm at the Hungarian American Club. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. For more info, 732-602-8916.
  3. Senior art is on display at the Performing Arts Center at Middlesex County College. The exhibit runs through August 12 and features artwork from the contest recently sponsored by the Department of Senior Services. Gallery hours are 11 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday.   4. Farmer's Market is open today at the Parker Press Park on Rahway Ave. is offered from 3:30 pm to 8 pm.
  5. The International Cathedral at Perth Amboy is holding its annual Youth Conference, starting today and running through Sunday. The cathedral is located at 277 Madison Avenue. Perth Amboy will be holding its July 27 to July 31. Pastors from the eastern seaboard will hold seminars on issues affecting today's youth, such as bullying, gang violence and AIDs prevention. A dinner, luncheon, panel discussion, and basketball tournament are part of the event's highlights. For more info, call 732-826-5293.
