Diocese Will Host Senior Citizen Enrichment

A Mass, luncheon, and entertainment for seniors is slated for June 24.


The Diocese of Metuchen will host an enrichment program for Catholic seniors (ages 55 and up) on Friday, June 24 at the St. John Neumann Pastoral Center, 146 Metlars Lane, Piscataway. 

The annual event, entitled Celebrate Life: A Day for Seniors, will begin with a 10:30 a.m. Mass celebrated by the Most Reverend Paul G. Bootkoski, D.D. with Rev. Msgr. William Benwell, JCL, Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia, serving as the homilist. After Mass, there will be a luncheon with live musical entertainment. The day will close with a brief reflection given by Rev. Ronald Bonneau CSsR. and Rev. James Gilmore CSsR., co-directors of the diocesan Office for Hispanic Ministry. 

The cost is $20 per person. Registration is requested by June 15.
