Chinese Painting and Cinderella are in the Five Things You Must Know!

  1. The Arts Guild New Jersey is having through which contributors bid on over 60 original works of art by regional artists.  The artwork includes encaustics, drawings, paintings, sketches, prints, photographs, and sculpture. Bidding starts at $30; incremental bids are accepted and a "buy now" price is set for each work.  The program runs through May 13. For more info and to bid, go to www.agnj.org.
  2. Archery safety classes are being held at the at Oak Ridge Park in Clark. The session lasts two hours and costs $20 per person. For more info and to register, call 908-527-4900.
  3. Classes in the traditional Chinese style of painting with brush and ink are being held at the . Students may bring their own tools and materials, or they can purchase supplies directly from the instructor. A complete kit of ink, brushes and rice paper is available for $35.
