It might not be much, but it's enough to snarl a morning commute. Up to an inch of snow is expecting to pelt the central New Jersey area today, according to the National Weather Service.
Chances of precipitation, including snow, are 90 percent for the region. We're expecting a combination of snow and rain, turning to mostly rain in the early afternoon as temperatures rise above freezing.
There is about a 40 percent chance that the mess will turn back to snow later Tuesday night, but no significant accumulations are expected.
