NEW STORES BLOSSOM AT MENLO PARK MALL

New stores are blossoming at Menlo Park Mall with exciting retailers and eateries joining the merchant mix, some already open and others slated for this fall and winter season

                “We’re thrilled to welcome a brand new group of merchants to our quality line-up of more than 175 fine stores,” said Suzy Lichter, director of marketing and business development for Menlo Park Mall. “These new additions will help us to deliver on our commitment to our shoppers and enhance the retail experience at Menlo Park Mall for our treasured shoppers.”

  • Kids Foot Locker: One of the nation’s favorite athletic retailers, Kids Foot Locker offers a wide selection of well-known brand names in athletic footwear, apparel and accessories for youngsters. With a shopping environment that both parents and children will adore, this retailer opened mid-September and can be found in Center Court on the lower level.
  • Leatherworks: The source for custom made leather motorcycle saddle bags, solo bags, and motorcycle accessories, the company was founded in 1976 by Phillip Thacher in Stockton, CA. The company started by creating handmade sandals, belts, wallets and other small accessories, and when a satisfied customer asked for a saddlebag, Thacher took the challenge with delight.  The saddlebag was a huge success, and Leather Works has been recreating it ever since. This retailer recently went through renovation and relocation and is now open for business on the upper level next to Brookstone.

Among the retailers coming soon to Menlo Park Mall include:

  • CUPS Frozen Yogurt: The perfect place to take a snack break, CUPS offers an extensive selection of delicious frozen yogurt flavors, along with a variety of mouth-watering toppings. The brand has 13 locations throughout New Jersey and New York, and is quickly becoming one of the most popular frozen yogurt establishments in the tri-state area. CUPS will find a new home at Menlo Park Mall in the beginning of October in its location on the upper level opposite the AMC Theatre.
  • Burton Snowboards: The shopping destination for snowboarders across the country, Burton was founded by Jake Burton in 1977 with the debut of The Backhill board. This merchant quickly became one of the most popular snowboard and accessory distributors in America, and will come to Menlo Park Mall at the end of October.
  • Wilsons Leather: A leading fashion retailer offering quality leather accessories and outerwear, Wilson’s Leather carries a variety of designer brands for men and women. From outerwear, to accessories, to handbags, to briefcases and travel items, shoppers will love the diverse selection. This merchant will open in late October on the upper level of the Nordstrom wing.
  • UNIQLO: Founded in Japan by Tadashi Yanai, this diverse clothing retailer opened in Hiroshima, and has been growing in popularity all over the world ever since. Looks are universal among social groups, ages, genders, occupations, ethnicities and all other categories. One of the first to open in the US, Uniqlo will make its debut in November on the lower level of the Nordstrom Wing.
  • Mika Of Japan: Mika of Japan is the perfect place for shoppers to take a quick break to enjoy a delicious meal filled with Japanese cuisine. This quick service eatery will make its debut in the food court in late December early January.
Seasons 52: This fresh grill and wine bar offers an extensive and seasonally-inspired menu accompanied by an award-winning wine list with selections from all over the world.  With service that is second-to-none, this establishment will celebrate its grand opening towards the end of December or the beginning of January 2014 in its location near the main parking lot.
