BDO USA, LLP EXPANDS LEADERSHIP TEAM OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS PRACTICE

BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation’s leading accounting and consulting organizations, is pleased to announce the addition of a new partner and senior director to its Woodbridge, NJ office. The new partner and senior director, each individually mentioned below, joined BDO after last month’s announcement that the firm would be expanding its financial institutions practice through the addition of several partners and employees who were formerly with the banking practice of ParenteBeard, LLC. 

Alan D. Molin, CPA, is an audit partner and a member of the financial institution practice group. With over 30 years of public accounting and auditing experience related to financial institutions, Alan has assisted institutions with the implementation of new accounting standards and their initial public stock offerings including subsequent public reporting requirements.

Dennis M. Spinelli, CPA, a senior director in the tax services group, has more than 25 years of experience providing tax services. His extensive experience centers on taxation and issues pertaining to corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. He also provides tax and advisory services to clients across a variety of industries with an focus on financial institution clients. In addition, Dennis provides consulting and tax planning with a particular focus on accounting methods, entity structure, mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, stock compensation and consolidated return issues.
