'Ladies of Main' New Woodbridge Chamber Event

Event brings women together with medical professionals and offers complimentary services from local businesses.

The Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce is hosting the first “Ladies of Main” event that focuses on health and wellness, while featuring complimentary services from local businesses.

The idea sprung from a meeting with Chamber members, Director of WMCC Nancy Drumm said. Specifically, Linda Mazzella at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy. The main goal of the event is to have women interact with physicians from Raritan Bay Medical Center, Drumm said.

Women will receive complimentary services offered by Vito Mazza, Physical Features and Pole2Pole Fitness followed by a buffet dinner and cash bar at Il Castello’s. At the restaurant, physician specialists will be on hand to chat with guests about medical issues.

“This is a unique opportunity for attendees to both experience the businesses on Main Street and to interact with new physicians at Raritan Bay Medical Center,” Drumm expressed.

The event should be a success due to the WMCC’s dedication to having businesses expand their reach through different types of events, she added. She expects “Ladies on Main” to sell out at about 60 guests.

Owner of Pole2Pole Fitness Jennifer Hall said the event is a great way to promote entrepreneurship in Woodbridge.

She is also involved to celebrate women in the community who can benefit from exercise at her facility, Hall added.

“We are very excited for this new event that we are bringing to Woodbridge,” Drumm told Patch. “We are happy to co-sponsor with Raritan Bay Medical Center and look forward to more events like this in the future.”

Gusts will receive a complimentary gift bag and be entered in a basket raffle. Registration is now open for the event. Ticket cost is $50. To purchase a ticket, visit the Woodbridge Chamber website or contact them at 732-636-4040 or woodbridgechamber@comcast.net.
