Win High Tea for Your Valentine's Love Story

It's freezing January, and what better way to warm up than to anticipate February and Valentine's Day?

The Brass Lantern, a quaint gift store evoking a more refined era, and just a hop, skip, and a jump from Woodbridge, has just the thing to get you in the mood.

They're holding a special Valentine's Day contest, and they're asking for classic love letters. The contest, 'Love Has No Limits," seeks the best love story, whether handwritten the old fashioned way or sent via email.

The winners of the top three entries, to be chosen by local Metuchen authors, will be invited with a guest to spend an afternoon enjoying a traditional High Tea.

"Love can be expressed in a myriad of different methods, but the most timeless and most treasured will always remain the classic love letter – whether written on paper or engraved on one’s mind," according to the contest, so let that get you in the mood.

The store will also have an Antique Valentine Exhibit on display start January 23, with a selection available for purchase. They'll also be celebrating "Love Week" from February 4 to 10, where for every $25 spent at the store, customers will receive an entry in the drawing for a Kindle.
