Make Way for the 6th Annual Central Jersey Beer Fest

Handcrafted beer tastings and more today at the Parker Press Park.

Do you love beer and want to sample some of the best the region has to offer?

Head on over to the 6th Annual Central Jersey Beer Fest today, Saturday, September 22, from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Parker Press Park on Rahway Avenue.

Hosted by Woodbridge's own popular brew pub, J.J. Bitting, the event is a fundraiser and includes music, food, and a souvenir sample glass for those who purchase tickets to drink.

Speaking of tickets, they're $25 for beer enthusiasts, $15 for non-drinkers, and kids under 12 can enter free. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.

Pubs participating include: J.J. Bitting (of course), Tun Tavern, Harvest Moon, Cricket Hill, Boaks, Pizzeria Uno, East Coast Brewery, Brews by Keegan's, Peak Organic, Brooklyn Brewery, Ommegang, and Blue Point Brewery.

Follow Woodbridge Patch on FacebookTwitter and sign up for the daily newsletter.

This thing sucks. You wait in line for 10 minutes for a shot glass full of beer.
