Iselin Based Middlesex Water Company Named Finalist for Business of the Year Award

Middlesex Water Company has been in business for 116 years.

Iselin-based Middlesex Water Company has been named a finalist for the 2013 NJBIZ Business of the Year awards.

According to a press release from Middlesex Water, the company has been in business in central New Jersey for over 116 years, providing water, waste water and utility services. Today, the company provides services and partnerships in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania.

The awards program honors businesses in six award categories, chosen by an independent panel of judges, according to the release.

The finalists and award winners will be recognized at an awards dinner on December 9 at the Palace at Somerset Park.

"We are honored to be among the list of New Jersey's best businesses," said Dennis Doll, Chairman, President and CEO of Middlesex Water, in a prepared statement. "This has been an exciting year for our company as we helped numerous municipalities solve their water and wastewater challenges through our ever-growing suite of services."
