Provident Bank has been holding a sweepstakes drawing, and a Fords woman was one of their winners.
Deborah Hladek who lives in the Fords section of Woodbridge Township won $100 in the daily drawing of the bank's "Committed to Share" sweepstakes. The bank said the sweepstakes is their effort to give back to the community by giving residents in their banking area a financial boost.
But that's not all. Provident also donates a matching amount of money to the winner's favorite charity.
Hladek chose Penny Angel’s Beagle Rescue to receive the matching $100 donation.
The sweepstakes, which runs through November 28, will also be holding a big giveaway. Three top prizes will be awarded on Saturday, December 15, including a grand prize of $5,000 cash and a $5,000 donation to a charity; a first place prize of $2,500 cash and a $2,500 donation to a charity; and a second place prize of $1,250 cash and a $1,250 donation to a charity.
All together, Provident officials said in a statement they will be awarding more than $28,000 in prizes to both winners and their selection of charity recipients.
Prospective winners can enter the contest at any of the Provident Bank branches, which are located throughout the Woodbridge area. Entrants can also sign up for the sweepstakes online at Provident Bank's website.
