Five Things: Israeli Dancing, Diabetes Supports

Try something new this Tuesday in Five Things.

  1. Try something new. Ever heard of Israeli dancing? Check out in Clark. Israeli Dance for Beginners is held  on Tuesday nights, with beginners instructed at 7 pm, and advanced beginners/intermediate at 7:45 pm. The cost is $8 per class, or $35 for five classes.   2. Get help with diabetes. Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway Fitness and Wellness Center offers a tonight from 7 to 8:30 pm in conference room number three. The event is free and no pre-registration is required. Walk-ins are welcome. For more info, call 732-499-6109.
  3. Clean out the house and make a few bucks. Rent a table at the , which holds outdoor throughout the upcoming season at the Elks Lodge. Flea markets are held outside Tuesdays and Saturdays year-round from 7 am to 3 pm (weather permitting), and indoors on Thursdays from 8 am to 3 pm. Those interested in selling items are welcome to attend the flea market on the day of the event, or call 732-634-2116 for more information.
  4. Visit an art exhibition at Middlesex County College. ": Gendered Visions of the Caribbean and its Diasporas,” continues at the college's Studio Theatre Gallery through Nov. 8.   5. Winning entries are on display at the Arts Guild New Jersey in Rahway. The of a recent contest will be featured in the Nexus NJ show through November 17.
