Ex-Employees File Lawsuit Against Woodbridge Bed Bath & Beyond

The former warehouse workers claim they were fired for speaking out against working conditions.

Three former workers at a Woodbridge Bed Bath & Beyond warehouse have filed a lawsuit claiming they were fired after complaining about working conditions there.

According to a report on mycentraljersey.com, at least three former warehouse employees filed the suit after they claim they were wrongfully fired in January 2012 from the location, located in the Port Reading section of the township. 

Two of the employees, Port Reading residents, claim they company didn't do enough to accommodate them after they were injured on the job.

A Sayreville man claims he was fired for using inappropriate language on the job, but said he was harassed about his age, according to the report.

All three had previously been approached about forming a union to combat alleged poor treatment of employees by the company, according to the report.
