Iselin American Legion Post Holds Spaghetti Dinner

The American Legion T. Nulty Post #471 in Iselin is hosting its annual spaghetti dinner October 30. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages six to 12 and free for any children age five and younger.

The spaghetti and meatballs dinner includes bread, salad, soda, coffee, teas and desserts. One glass of wine or beer is also included in the price.

The T. Nulty American Legion Post is part of the Blue Star Family Support Group and is always accepting troop donations for the following items:

  • Bug Spray/Wipes
  • Wet ones, Dri Wash, Dri wipes, travel size please
  • Snack items, Dri fruit, trail mix, individual tuna/crackers, Beef Jerky
  • Chap Stick
  • Toothbrushes
  • Q-Tips (sm. packs)
  • Razors
  • Eye moisture drops
  • Small powered drink mixes (to add to water bottles) The crystal light brand is preferred, individual packets if possible
  • Individual coffee packets
  • Tuna/Chicken salad in pouches
  • Female Hygiene Products (deodorant, sanitary napkins, etc.)
  • Sun Block
  • Large 1 or 2 gal size Ziploc type bags for storing toiletries, clothing, etc. to protect from sand, other weather conditions.
  • Socks (white, black, tan or green – cotton, wool)
  • Protein Bars
  • Granola/Cereal Bars
  • Hard Candy
  • Batteries (any size)
  • Tissues – travel size preferred
  • Foot Powder, Insoles for boots
  • Deodorant
  • Gum/Breath Mints
  • Cookies
  • Microwave Foods
  • Popcorn
  • Coffee packets, tea bags
  • Medical Items (Aspirin, Cough/Allergy, Vitamins, hand sanitizers)
  • Cereal (sm. boxes)
  • Snack Foods (Small packs of Nuts, Chips, etc)
  • Shaving Cream in tubes, not cans
  • Hand warmers
  • Toilet Paper
  • Please do not donate mouthwash or any type of aerosol or liquid based items.


Items may be dropped off at the American Legion Post at 25 Brown Avenue in Iselin Tuesdays through Fridays from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
