Construction Continues on New Liquor Store at Wegmans

But where did they put the toilet paper?

The scaffolding and the hard hats are all over the place at , as construction for the continues apace.

Gone is the much beloved housewares department, most departments are jumbled around, and just try and find the pet food (hint: it's in the leftmost rear corner of the store.)

The store has taken advantage of the construction momentum to shift around several departments, and to rid others, such as the produce department, of walls separating it from other areas of the store. The frozen food aisles, for example, are being moved about, with no clear indication where everything will finally wind up.

It's confusing for shoppers, but Wegmans - one of the best stores in the township - has its employees on high alert to help befuddled customers find where their grocery choices have been relocated.

The completion of the liquor store is still several months away, so the chaos promises to continue for the immediate future. The good news is, the liquor establishment is hiring. For more information, drop by and fill out an application, or call Wegmans at 732-596-3200.
