The 'Power of Pink' Helps in Breast Cancer Fight
The sale of a pink bracelet has raised $4.5 million in the battle against breast cancer.
Brighton Collectibles in Woodbridge Center is helping battle breast cancer, one pink bracelet at a time.
This is the 10th year the jewelry and accessories shop has sold a 'Power of Pink' bracelet to raise awareness and research for the dreaded disases. Since the bracelet's inception, they've raised $4.5 million for the cause.
The bracelet links are reversible - from pink to silver - and it has a Swarovski pink crystal dangling heart. Priced at $50, ten percent of the sale of the bracelet is donated to breast cancer research.
