Woodbridge Artist Exhibits at Morristown Show

Contemporary artist Maxine King will be one of the artists featured at the Art Upstairs Gallery exhibit starting March 6.

Artist Maxine King of will be one of 19 fine artists, sculptors, and photographers who will be exhibiting their works from the Contemporary Art Group. The exhibition, entitled 'Recent Works,' will be on display at the Art Upstairs Gallery of the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown beginning Tuesday, March 6.

A reception for the artists will be held on Sunday, March 11 from 5 pm to 7 pm.

The show runs through Monday, April 16.  The artists hail from Essex, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset and Union counties, and their works tackle a wide variety of subjects in a huge array of media, including acrylic, collage, encaustic, ink, mixed media, oil, pastel, printmaking, sculpture, and watercolor.

All are welcome to the exhibition and the reception. The Art Upstairs Gallery is located in the upper lobby of The Mayo Performing Arts Center at 100 South Street in Morristown.   The Gallery is open two hours prior to and during all performances at the Theatre, and by appointment by calling 973-539-0345, ext. 6583.
