Last Chance: Tix for 'The Guitarists of Little Feat' On Sale

The guitar players with the legendary band Little Feat will be holding a special concert Thursday night at the United Methodist Church on Main Street.

Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett, both guitar players with Little Feat, will be on the stage at 7:30 pm. Tickets are still available, and are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

Barrere and Tackett have joined forces to form an acoustic duet to perform songs from their Little Feat catalogue, in addition to other compositions.

The guitarists first played together on the Little Feat album “Dixie Chicken” some twenty-five years ago, and since then, they've played together or individually on numerous recording sessions for the band. They've also played with other famous musicians, such as Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Dionne Farris, and the Wallflowers.
