Reception Slated for Artist Paul Kiesche Tonight at the Barron Arts Center

The realistic landscape oils of Paul Kiesche will be welcomed at a reception at the Barron Arts Center tonight.

The Barron Arts Center is planning a reception tonight for award-winning artist Paul Kiesche, whose work will be on display at the arts venue through March 29.

The reception, which begins at 7 pm,  is free and open to the public.

Kiesche has a rich, diversified background in the arts. Holding a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Arts in Philadelphia, Kiesche became art director for North American Publishing Company before he even graduated from college. He also created 40 published illustrations, including two magazine covers, while in school.

Kiesche has had a rich and varied career, working as an art director, illustrator, and designer for several firms in Manhattan, Philadelphia, and New Jersey and continued his career as a freelance illustrator. 

While producing hundreds of illustrations throughout his career, Kische eventually opened his own design studio, Paul Kiesche Design, LLC. The artist has won dozens of design awards; he also serves as an adjunct faculty member at the County College of Morris.

Kiesche's devotion to art led him to create a fine art series of realistic oil landscapes inspired by his background growing up in the northeast part of the country. Some of the oils in the show entitled "Off the Beaten Path" will be on display at Barron Arts Center.
