Free Concert Series, Farmers Market Kicks Off Wednesday

'Woodbridge Wednesday' begins today at Parker Press Park.

Woodbridge Wednesday, the Township’s free concert series, famers market and car cruise kicks off this Wednesday at Parker Press Park.

Each Wednesday until August 21, a concert will be held in the park at 7:30 p.m., free of charge. However, the Township asks attendees to bring cans of food for the “We Feed Woodbridge” food bank campaign.

This Wednesday’s headliner is The Willie Nile Band.

The Farmers Market will run from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. featuring many returning vendors and local “Jersey Fresh” produce. Also, don’t miss the return of the “Wine and Beer Garden” sponsored by J.J. Bitting Brewing Co.

The Woodbridge Downtown Car Cruise is part of the kick-off event on Wednesday, but upcoming Wednesday’s will feature events such as the “Peach Party,” Pizza Run and YMCA Kids day.
