The art exhibit "Jersey Burns" will be on view at the LightSoundSpace Gallery in Rahway from April 5 to April 21. The gallery, located at 1591 Irving Street, will display the works of artists Demerock, Snow, Rain, Will Kasso and Gentrifried. There will be a reception on April 5 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. All events are free to the public.
The lightsoundspace website describes the eclectic form of art as "urban-inspired fine art [that] typically draws on the stylistic lettering of graffiti, and other forms of street art, for inspiration. Beside that, urban art often responds to the artists’ everyday lives."
After the initial opening, gallery hours are on Thursdays from 1 pm to 4 pm and during other scheduled events.
