Dala Headlines Music on Main Concert Tonight

The Music on Main series has a double header musical event tonight that's not to be missed.

Acoustic pop artists Dala, a two-woman Canadian team that's been wowing audiences since they ventured from the North country, will be headlining the concert 7:30 pm tonight at the on Main St. 

Opening for Dala will be blues guitarist Samuel James, who is returning to Woodbridge for a second time. The singer-songwriter played in a 2009 concert here and proved himself to be an audience favorite.

Dala is composed of artists Amanda Waither and Sheila Carabine, who write their own acoustic compositions. They won the 2010 Canadian Folk Music Award for Vocal Group of the year. In the few years since the women teamed up, they've released five albums and have toured across North America to acclaim.
