Lecture series continues with 'Medieval Castles' talk at 7:30 pm.

Woodbridge’s will host “Medieval Castles of England & Wales” tonight at 7:30 pm at the Barron Arts Center. The lecture, a part of the Dr. Stephen Kaplan “A Taste of the Arts” series, will be presented by Ian C. Burrow, Ph.D. and vice president and archaeologist for Hunter Research.

The lecture will be an introduction to castles such as the many surviving examples in England and Wales. A chronological survey emphasizes changes through time and what to look for when visiting a castle.

The ongoing series is being presented by the Barron Arts Center and the Woodbridge Township Cultural Arts Commission, and it's being funded by the Horizons Speakers Bureau of the New Jersey Council for the Humanities, a state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
