Brislin Concert Sold Out at Barron Arts Center

But you can get on the waiting list for tonight's concert by the progressive indie musician.

The Tom Brislin concert tonight at the Barron Arts Center is sold out.

The prospect of hearing the indie musician live has proven to be so popular that the Barron venue is taking names for a concert waiting list. 

Brislin's appearance tonight is one in a series called "Exit 11: NJ Arts Interactive Concert Series," funded in part by a grant from the Middlesex County Cultural Heritage Commission.

New Jersey native Brislin is an indie musician, songwriter and producer who has been featured in the band Spiraling. He is a popular session musician who has worked with and toured with such artists as Yes, Debbie Harry, and Meat Loaf.

He released his own CD, "When You Told Me Not to Go," which is featured on his website.

A single from that CD, "Stepping Out," a progressive cover of the Joe Jackson hit from the 80s, can be heard and downloaded from Brislin's website. 

This show will be Brislin's first this year, although he said he may be scheduling another concert in the area soon.
