Youth Players Present 'Pippin,' Ladies on Main, BOE Meeting This Week

Here's a look at the stories we will be covering this week in Woodbridge.


Community Youth Players Present “Pippin”: The Woodbridge Community Youth Players had the dress rehearsal for “Pippin” on Sunday. This is the group’s sixth annual performance, which takes place each year at the theater at Woodbridge Middle School. This week, we’ll take a look inside the production, how rehearsals have gone so far and a full list of the cast. “Pippin” runs from July 17 to July 20.

Ladies on Main: Woodbridge Chamber of Commerce is coordinating a girls’ night out, called “Ladies on Main,” which will feature services provided by Vito Mazza, Physical Features and Pole2Pole Fitness. Following the pampering, Hors d’oeuvres, Buffet, Cash bar will take place at II Costello’s. Check back with Patch this week for more on the event.


Board of Ed: The Board of Education will host its second meeting of the summer on Thursday evening at Oak Ridge Heights School No. 21. It was previously stated by Board Attorney Jonathan Busch that further personnel action would be taken in the wake of the suspensions that occurred in early June.
