YMCA Celebrates the Season with a Holiday Extravaganza

The Woodbridge YMCA had a festive atmosphere for children and adults alike.

The celebrated the season with a Holiday Extravaganza event in their digs at the Woodbridge Community Center - a day dedicated to toasting the joys of the Yuletide. The fun included performances by seniors enrolled in "Stepping Out with Paula," a dance enrichment class devoted to older citizens who seek fun ways of staying in shape, and in this case, entertaining an audience.

The also got into the act with a concert at the YMCA. Later on, the seasonal activities continued with a visit from Santa Claus, refreshments, and presents, enjoyed by children and adults alike.

The festivities aren't over at the YMCA. Get into the holiday mood by creating a Gingerbread House. The class is held on Sunday, Dec. 18, from 3 pm to 5 pm, and the fees are reasonable: $6 per a created house for YMCA members, and $10 for non-members. Call 732-596-4170 for more information and to register.
