Woodbridge Rescue Squad Holds Celebration

You won't want to miss the fun on Saturday.


It'll be 75 years since the Woodbridge Township Ambulance and Rescue Squad (WTARS) opened its doors to help township residents.

Saturday, they'll be celebrating their 75th anniversary.

It'll be held on September 29 from 10 am to 3 pm at the squad headquarters, located at 77 Queen Road in Iselin (that's right on Route 9 South before the entrance to Woodbridge Center.)

The squad will give CPR demonstrations, and the Red Cross will also be holding a blood drive.

All kinds of activities, including tours and health screenings, are on the menu. Refreshments will be served during the open house as well.
