More than 300 YMCA campers and members attended the Luau themed party last week.

The Northfield Bank hosted a luau themed party last Thursday for families of campers and members of Woodbridge YMCA to show their appreciation.

For the fifth year in a row, Northfield Bank has hosted parties for the YMCA as part of their community outreach program. Thursday’s event featured table games, refreshments, a D-I-Y lei station, a pirate themed obstacle course, a Hawaiian variety performer and more.

“I am very grateful to Northfield Bank for their committed support of the YMCA at the Woodbridge Community Center. Northfield has made their Family Appreciation Event an annual tradition, which provides fun, food, and games for the families we serve,” said Branch Director of the Woodbridge YMCA Katie McAdoo. “The YMCA was founded on the premise of giving back to the community, Northfield Bank certainly understands that.”

Northfield Bank is located just across from the Community Center in the NJ Turnpike Building, The successful event was held at the WCC for three hours with many happy campers enjoying the activities.

“We are very excited to have partnered with the Woodbridge YMCA once again this year to host a Family Appreciation Carnival for their campers and members,” stated Damien Kane, Director of Marketing for Northfield Bank.  “Northfield Bank employees enjoy volunteering their time to make this Family Appreciation event enjoyable for the YMCA summer camp participants and their families.”
