In celebration of New Jersey communities, the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center will be launching the MY TOWN series, a new tradition that will highlight the diversity and culture within New Jersey. MY TOWN will celebrate greatness throughout the stories of everyday leaders and heroes in our towns.

“We are honored to celebrate our dedicated fans and work with local community leaders to develop inspiring platforms that give back,” said Hugh Weber, President of Devils Arena Entertainment. “We work hard to represent our community, and to create experiences through Devils games and concerts that we can all be proud of.”
The selected communities will be honored with a town-themed takeover of a Devils game, in addition to off-season community outreach events. During games in March, local towns will be highlighted with honorary captain of the game, a special in-game welcome, local color guard will present during the pre-game festivities, vignette on the community, and a Heroes Among Us feature.
The MY TOWN series will kick off on Tuesday, March 18 vs. Boston with Woodbridge being selected as the first town highlighted. Woodbridge Township, the sixth largest municipality in the State with a population of nearly 100,000 residents, is recognized as the Crossroads of New Jersey. As a New Jersey Devils MY TOWN community, Woodbridge is proud of its diverse offerings – the MetroPark Corporate Center is home to international, national, and regional corporations and businesses; Main street business districts feature “Buy Local” shopping; beautiful residential communities that are safe and secure; the Woodbridge Township school district serves over 13,000 students in grades K-12; and the Woodbridge Community Center (WCC) offers unmatched recreation, entertainment, fitness, and cultural activities.
“Woodbridge Township is the number one fan of the New Jersey Devils MY TOWN Series and is proud to have been selected as the very first participant in the series when the Devils take on the Bruins at the Pru on March 18,” said Woodbridge Mayor John E. McCormac. “In fact, Woodbridge and The New Jersey Devils have a very special relationship – the New Jersey Devils played a key role in sponsoring the hugely successful Mayor’s Wellness Campaign’s ‘Drop-A-Ton’ weight loss challenge and in supporting the Woodbridge Special Hockey program for challenged youngsters.”
Following the March 18 start, the MY TOWN Series will also honor communities through the end of the month with games onThursday, March 20 vs. Minnesota; March 23 vs. Toronto; Thursday, March 27 vs. Phoenix and Monday, March 31 vs. Florida.
