Expect another day of high winds in the Woodbridge and Central New Jersey area.
The National Weather Service has called for a wind advisory toay from 10 am to 6 pm that will, at times, match the gusts that blew through the region early Friday morning.
They are predicting winds from the west at 20 to 25 mph, with gusts of up to 50 mph throughout the day.
The strongest winds are expected from late Saturday morning until early Saturday evening.
Drivers are reminded that the strong winds may bring down trees and tree limbs, resulting in scattered power outages that afflicted some parts of the area Friday morning. Those operating high profile vehicles should also take care, especially when travelling across bridges.
Holiday decorations should also be tied down; many homeowners were seen chasing their Christmas decor as it blew down township streets early Friday.
