High School Students Sought for Youth Conservation Corps
The county offers spring part-time jobs for high school students wishing to work in open space preservation.
High schoolers interested in environmental conservation are invited to submit applications for the Middlesex County Youth Conservation Corps, a part-time spring job for teens in Middlesex County.
According to a press release from the county, the Youth Conservation Corps hires students ages 16 and older to work Saturdays from April 5 through June 14.
The Youth Conservation Corps handle trail building, litter clean-up and improvements to wildlife habitats at open spaces in Middlesex County, primarily in Old Bridge, Monroe and South Brunswick, according to the release.

Self-motivated teens who are open to teamwork and willing to work outdoors and get their hands dirty are sought to join the corps.
They must also be able to walk several miles and stand for extended periods of time, according to the release.

The pay is $8.50 per hour, according to the release.
