Puppy Love Pet Rescue is looking for one of its pets that went missing in Colonia.
A puppy has been missing in Colonia since Christmas, and caretakers are trying to find her.
Krista is a nine-month-old female dog who was being fostered in Colonia. She went missing at 11 a.m. Dec. 25 behind the Home Depot on St. Georges Avenue and has not been seen since, according to Denise Lavin of Puppy Love Pet Rescue, the agency in charge of her care.
"She came to us about three months ago from Mississippi after being found in a drainage ditch," Lavin said. She came to us very scared and was in her foster home getting socialized and getting lots of love."
Krista is wearing a collar with a Puppy Love Pet Rescue tag on it, Lavin said. She may run if approached. If spotted, please call Puppy Love Pet Rescue at (732) 914-0600.
