Great Escape: Some Like 'Em Hot!

Who doesn’t love hot wings, right? Okay, well, I actually went through a period where I didn’t eat them, myself, following an unfortunate hot wing and green beer incident one St. Patrick’s Day, but I’m all better now.

Whether you’ve got an aversion to hot wings or not, you’ll want to head to Buffalo Wild Wings in North Brunswick.  They are much more than wings, although you’ll be hard pressed to find better wings elsewhere.  The menu boasts all the normal sports bar fare from onion rings to burgers, with special attention paid, of course, to chicken.

The thing that really sets Buffalo Wild Wings apart is their vast array of sauces and seasonings.  You can choose your chicken anyway you like, grilled, fried, boneless, even in a wrap, and then choose your favorite sauce to go with it. They have something for everyone, ranging in taste and heat. I’m personally addicted to the Parmesan Garlic sauce and the Mild Buffalo sauce, which has a great flavor without burning your lips off.

I think my favorite thing about BWW is that I can get grilled buffalo chicken, instead of having it breaded and/or fried.  Healthy options abound, including a veggie boat of raw carrots and celery to accompany your meal, which I ordered instead of fries. I have had the fries, though, and they are awesome, in case you were wondering.  

Keep in mind that this is a sports bar, so if you’re looking for a quiet evening out with your honey, this might not be your best bet. If, however, you’re wanting to watch the Rangers game on one of their ginormous TVs, you’re in business.  It’s also a family friendly establishment, with a kids menu that features all your normal kid fare, but also has boneless wings and regular wings, in kid sized portions.
