Residents of Woodbridge gathered Saturday afternoon to celebrating India's 66th Independence Day with a ceremonial .
The ceremony, hosted annually by the First Presbyterian Church of Iselin, featured cultural dancing, patriotic songs, Indian food, and beautiful weather.
The speakers and guests included State Senators Joseph Kyrillos, Joseph Vitale, and Samuel Thompson, Assemblyman Craig Coughlin, Franklin Township Mayor Brian Levine, Edison Mayor Antonia Ricigliano, Edison Councilman Sudhanshu Prasad, and Woodbridge Councilman Robert Luban.
