'Explore The World from Woodbridge' Multicultural Day Festival

From Woodbridge officials:

Woodbridge Township will host the Annual “Earth/Arbor & Multi-Cultural Day Festival” at the Woodbridge Community Center (WCC) on Sat., April 19, 2014.  The day-long festival features the  Earth/Arbor Day tree planting and give-away of FREE tree seedlings and Multi-Cultural Day exhibits, food, dance, music, and performances presented by residents representing more than a dozen different cultures and ethnicities that live and work in Woodbridge.

As part of Multi-Cultural Day, Mayor John E. McCormac will welcome 35 new U.S. citizens as they take the Oath of Allegiance to the United States at a special ceremony administered by the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services.  The new American citizens, representing nations from across the globe, each completed the official citizenship test and demonstrated a basic knowledge of spoken and written English, along with a working knowledge of American history and the U.S. Constitution.

The Woodbridge Township Environmental Commission, Environmental Agencies and Organizations, “Green” Businesses,” and Township residents will participate in the Earth/Arbor Day celebration with the planting of blossoming Redspire Pear trees along Community Center Drive – an annual event that signifies the important role trees play in keeping the Township environment clean and smog-free.  The tree-planting ceremony will take place at 11:30 A.M. outside the Woodbridge Community Center.

This year’s Earth/Arbor Day celebration will include “green” displays by environmental companies and local Businesses; FREE give-away’s of tree seedlings and flower seeds, and other “green” items  (while supplies last).  The Earth/Arbor Day celebration will also include information on the importance of recycling, energy-saving seminars and information, and a special “Earth Day” program for children.

Don't think the trees will grow to much with Methane gas coming from the ground at the Woodbridge Community Center.

Then what are those big green things all around the left side and the back of the building by the golf course? They look like trees but maybe you have some official business information that says they are something else.
