'Explore The World from Woodbridge' Multicultural Day Festival

From Woodbridge officials:

Woodbridge Township will host the Annual “Earth/Arbor & Multi-Cultural Day Festival” at the Woodbridge Community Center (WCC) on Sat., April 19, 2014.  The day-long festival features the  Earth/Arbor Day tree planting and give-away of FREE tree seedlings and Multi-Cultural Day exhibits, food, dance, music, and performances presented by residents representing more than a dozen different cultures and ethnicities that live and work in Woodbridge.

As part of Multi-Cultural Day, Mayor John E. McCormac will welcome 35 new U.S. citizens as they take the Oath of Allegiance to the United States at a special ceremony administered by the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services.  The new American citizens, representing nations from across the globe, each completed the official citizenship test and demonstrated a basic knowledge of spoken and written English, along with a working knowledge of American history and the U.S. Constitution.
