The Diocese of Metuchen’s Cathedral Music Ministry will host a solo organ and piano concert in honor of all mothers, living and deceased, on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 7:00pm at the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi, 82 Elm Avenue, Metuchen, NJ.
The one-hour concert will be performed on the Cathedral’s majestic Schantz pipe organ by Thomas A. DeLessio, Diocesan and Cathedral Director of Liturgical Music and will feature works by Mendelssohn, Gigout, Franck, Messiaen and others. There will be a live simulcast of the show in the sanctuary.
The program will be dedicated to the memory of the late Gail DeLessio.
