Train service on NJ Transit’s Northeast Corridor, North Jersey Coast, Rartian Valley and the Morris and Essex lines between New Brunswick and New York is delayed Tuesday morning between 10 and 15 minutes due to signal problems, according to njtransit.com. NJ Transit is offering systemwide cross honoring on Tuesday and Wednesday.
There are weather-related delays on the Bayonne Bridge, Goethals Bridge and Outerbridge Crossing, and delays on the Garden State Parkway between Woodbridge and Clark, according to 511nj.org. There are also delays on 295 in Lawrence Township.
According to nj.com, PSE&G was working on a concentrated power outage in Perth Amboy Tuesday morning, although widespread power outages were being reported throughout the state.
A Wind Chill Advisory issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect Tuesday throughout the state, as temperatures have dropped into single digits all over New Jersey. Much of the state saw temperatures near 60 degrees around the same time on Monday as the snow melted from the weekend storm, but temperatures began to drop in the afternoon in advance of the coming cold snap.
