Canoe and Picnic Saturday During Ernie Oros Woodbridge River Celebration

The free festival will take place Saturday at the Hungarian American Citizen's Club on Port Reading Avenue.

After you're done helping with the Public Lands Day cleanup on Saturday, head over to the Woodbridge Hungarian American Citizen's Club for a free festival.

TheΒ  First Annual Ernie Oros Woodbridge River Celebration begins at 11 a.m. Saturday at the club, located at 95 Port Reading Ave., Woodbridge.

The festival will feature music, a picnic and face painting. Kayak and canoe trips on the Woodbridge River will be offered from noon-2 p.m. and a dessert reception will take place in Woodbridge Butterfly Park in Avenel from 1-5 p.m., according to a press release from the township mayor's office.

The butterfly park is located at Pin Oak Forest at Omar Avenue.
