Woodbridge Animal Society Volunteers - Special Thanks to Our Lady of Peace School

Woodbridge Animal Society Volunteers would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the students of Our Lady of Peace for their generous act of community service!  On Friday April 11th, they will be hosting a school wide dress down day in honor of helping our local homeless animals.  In exchange for a $1 monetary donation or a pet supply item, students will have the option to forgo their uniforms and wear street clothes to school for the entire day.  WASV operates a pet food bank that functions solely on contributions, so the supplies collected will help many families in our community who may be experiencing difficult financial times.  A special thank you to the Instructor of the Student Council, Mrs. Kelly Dubasak for orchestrating this much appreciated fundraising event and to the students and their families who are participating for our charity!  WASV is a non-profit organization that operates in support of area animal rescues and shelters, so every donation received allows us to carry out our mission for the less fortunate animals.
