REcycled Art Classes at Lucky 7 Design

My name is Melanie Joseph and I'm the owner of a eclectic fun shop on Main Street. Lucky 7 Design is an eco-friendly home interiors & gifts shop....what that means is that everything in my shop is either vintage, salvaged, homemade or handmade.  I started this years ago and have been sharing it through my blog mylucky7design.blogspot.com as well as my online Etsy shops.

I refinish & repurpose vintage furniture as I make cool stuff from unexpected objects, this is evident by the antique playpen hanging on the wall in my shop.   I have also recruited fellow artisans from around the country to bring there art to Woodbridge and as expected....it is well received.  The shop has a little bit of everything for everyone...furniture, art, culinary treats, jewelry (vintage and new), handmade accessories, woodwork, glass art and eco-friendly paint line.

I will be having monthly recycled art classes at the shop for children.  I want to teach them the fun part of recycling...not just plastic, paper and metal.  The classes are due to start up in May and the children will learn to create from true trash, junk and garbage.

If anyone is interested you can stop by the shop at 76 Main Street and sign our guest book with your email and you will be notified of the 1st class shortly.   Classes will be $10 and snacks/beverages will be provided.  Due to overwhelming response classes will most likely be held on Sundays at the shop and there will be several classes due to the different age groups.

Lucky 7 Design will also be hosting future events such as artist feature nights, Spa nights, Culinary Treat tastings to bring the community out to Main Street and enjoy our downtown area.

I love this store! If you want to dip your toe into the water here for cheap, try the handmade soap - $6 each or 2 for $10. (You'll go for 2!)
