the state is responsible for inspecting parking lots? Any bets if someone asks him about that comment, he reverts to one of his favorite retorts: “I don’t recall that”!

As an aside, what Woodbridge inspector did the inspection. Did the township call upon an outside structural engineering firm to do the inspection and, if so, who got the bill for that service? Will Mac’s town council have to approve that contract/expenditure, now that it was all ready done? Maybe, the council’s rubber stamps have movable (forward and backward) dates on them!

I fell in that parking lot and got hurt. If it was inspected, how can all those uneven slabs of concrete be approved? I did not notice a "please look down while walking" sign or "unsafe area for flip flops". Clearly unsafe with a book full of incidents already.

Anita,
First and foremost, it is hoped you were not seriously injured. If you were, sue them.
Remember, all this is happening in the "Magic Kingdom" of Mayor for Life, John E. Mac! In his kingdom, safety, telling folks a "pot shop" is only a retail store, which will bring lots of "traffic" to the land, and things little ratables are of no real concern for those blessed enough to be in his realm.
