Curbside Pickups Start This Week For Hurricane Debris

Woodbridge Township will now begin collecting damaged household items and tree limbs.

For those township residents who have regained power in the wake of Hurricane Sandy and now need to rid themselves of damaged household items or debris caused by fallen limbs or trees can schedule an appointment with the Woodbridge Township Sanitation Department for individual pickups.

Beginning this week, the township is requesting that residents schedule a curbside pick up for any household items damaged due to flooding.

Residents are not required to schedule pickups for any tree debris and should now begin to leave all fallen tree limbs for curbside pickups. Township workers will be driving throughout the township starting today to pick these items up. For all standard leaf pickups, residents should adhere to the normal recycling dates posted on the township website.

For more information, call the Sanitation Department at 732-738-1311.
