Running and Pizza - Finally Together
The third annual Run for Pizza combined a four mile run through downtown Woodbridge and Sewaren with a concert and pizza party.
On your mark, get set...pizza party!
The township hosted the third annual Run For Pizza last night, with runners navigating a course that bought them from Main Street, along Cliff Road at the Sewaren waterfront and back again, finishing up in front of City Hall.
Organizers claimed a record number of participants this year, though Mayor John McCormac, who ran in the event last year, opted to sit this one out.Β While was at the end of a swelteringly warm day, runners this year enjoyed milder temperatures as they pounded the pavement.
