Reward Upped to $3K for Dog Dumper Info
The Woodbridge Animal Shelter and NJSPCA want information on who dumped four pit bulls in an abandoned parking lot.
There is still no new information on the suspects in a white car and a white truck involved in abandoning four dogs in a Markley Road parking lot last week.
The suspects first cased the area, then dumped the dogs in the Port Reading section of Woodbridge on June 5. Video from a security camera at a building at the parking lot recorded the entire dog dumping - including the dogs trying to run up to the car as one of the people involved appeared to talk to them.
One of the dogs had broken bones and another appeared to have been bitten. All four dogs, which appeared to be pit bulls, are recovering at the Woodbridge Animal Shelter.
The reward for information on the suspects is now at $3,000, according to a NJ101.5 article. The money is being put up by volunteers at the Woodbridge Animal Shelter and the NJSPCA.
If you have information, call the NJSPCA at 800-582-5979.
